Q&A With Coleman Street III (2019)
We are in the midst of a Golden Era of high school basketball in the Ann Arbor area. There is top notch talent, young talent, and depth. Coleman Street III is a 6-3 combo guard from Arbor Prep. The junior is a talented player on both ends of the floor.
Question: What are the three biggest strengths of your game?
Coleman Street III: I can attack the basket, shoot 3’s, and defend well with a high basketball IQ.
Question: What aspect of your game would you like to improve?
Coleman Street III: I would like to improve on my passing efficiency.
Question: What is your best moment in high school basketball so far?
Coleman Street III: During the summer league in Detroit I recorded multiple 30+ games and plan to do the same during the regular season.
Question: What high school team do you look forward to playing against?
Coleman Street III: I look forward to playing Ann Arbor Huron and DEPSA this upcoming season.
Question: Who is the best player you have played against?
Coleman Street III: The best player I’ve played against other than myself would probably be my trainer Lavell Blanchard who won Gatorade POTY and played at Michigan.
Question: Which gym in Michigan was your favorite to play in and why?
Coleman Street III: I like to play at Ann Arbor Huron’s gym because I like the way that it’s bright and the courts are very bouncy.
Question: Who is your favorite NBA player and why?
Coleman Street III: My favorite NBA player is Lebron James hands down because he’s the Greatest of all Time until I end up in the NBA.
Question: What is your favorite NBA Team?
Coleman Street III: My favorite NBA team is the Pistons.
Question: Which form of social media do you prefer?
Coleman Street III: I’m not usually active on any social media sites but I use Twitter for basketball occasionally.
Question: What are your long term goals, both on and off the court?
Coleman Street III: My long term goal is to be an NBA Hall of Famer on the court and off the court I want to be a business man with tons of endorsements and money.
