Trevor Karsseboom is a 5’11 Junior from Woodburn High School. He switches off between point guard and shooting guard position.

Karsseboom started their opening game with 30 points and a win over North Salem High.

“This high school season I expect to be competing for a league title and be in negotiation for MVP of the league.”

In the off season Trevor really worked on changing speeds with his handles being a guard and being able to get his in game transition pull up fluent and consistent.

“When it comes to work ethic I’m a whole different player. I’m very dedicated and will show up hours before practices and will stay hours after to perfect my craft. “

what separates Karsseboom from most players is that he is willing to put in the extra time and do the dirty work. “I am able to get others involved the game, and create for myself, and believe I can get a bucket when I want to. Off the dribble or on the catch.”

Last year as a sophomore he started half the season playing a solid 20 minutes. His sophomore stats were 11 ppg 6 ast 3 reb. Through two games, he is averaging 25 ppg 7 ast 7 reb.

Karsseboom has gotten invitation from AAU teams to tryout such as:  Salem Hoop, Team Fly but didn’t have much interest at the time.

Over the summer he attended Cascade Camp with college coaches at attendance and one college that was interested was Linn-Benton. He also claimes interest from Highline College.
