Averaging a team high 24.8 points per game, Newport Catholic Central’s Brennan Hall continues to play well and impress.
“This season has been good thus far. We play hard and rely on defense to help win us games,” said Hall. The Thoroughbreds currently sit at 8-5 through the mid-way point.
Newport Central Catholic made some noise in the “All-A” State Tournament last season, advancing to the championship game. His numbers have jumped drastically, having averaged just over 15 points per game as a junior.
Hall primarily plays the point guard position, but is capable of playing the combo spot as well. ” I’m a good driver and passer. I think I have a great pull up. I’m a better spot 3-point shooter, and I like to defend. I need to improve on finishing through contact and my floater could improve some as well.”
Currently holding one offer from NAIA Our Lady of the Lake (TX), Hall looks to change that as his senior season winds down. “I feel like I should catch the eye of college coaches for a number of reasons. I have a 3.4 GPA, I play hard, I like to create for my teammates, and I’m able to get my own as well.”
