PC North makes a run in Vegas
The Putnam City North Panthers are the only team in Oklahoma playing this weekend. They are playing far from home in Las Vegas, Nevada. The Tarkanian Classic is regarded as one of the best tournaments across the country. Putnam City North was featured in the Platinum bracket.
The Panthers knocked off two good opponents in Bingham from Utah and Chino Hills from California. Last night Putnam City North suffered their first loss of the season to Clark from Nevada. The Panthers have represented themselves well in Las Vegas and will have an opportunity to go out with a victory on Saturday with their final game tipping off at 6 pm CT against Salesian from California.
Putnam City North will be able to take the experience of a tough loss to a really talented team and use it to fuel them throughout the remainder of the season. Micah Thomas is an emerging prospect in the 2019 Class at Point Guard. He is joined by a plethora of talented seniors Adokiye Iyaye (Signed to UTSA), Blake Owens, Chris Braggs, and a great supporting cast.
