Palmetto State : Stock Risers – 2018 Guards
Prep Hoops SC takes a look at some players that will be Stock Risers in the near future from the Palmetto State.
Jermaine Patterson – Bluffton HS
Patterson is off to a quick start for the Bobcats this season. Patterson a starter here over the years recently scored 27 points vs South Effingham HS (GA) in a Bobcats 76-50 win. The Bobcats are currently 6-0 after finishing 7-14 last season. Patterson also plays football and has received interest from Newberry (SC) (NCAA D2).
Terance Mack – Trinity-Byrnes (Darlington)
Mack has helped the Titans to a 10-0 start this season. Mack a left-handed point guard played last season at Hartsville HS. Mack a solid student in the classroom also is two-sport athlete and excels on the gridiron for the Titans. The Titans won the SCISA 2-A State Football Championship this past season.
Mack has a nice-mid-range jumper and has the ability to attack the gaps.
Tyrek Epps – The King’s Academy (Florence)
Epps has been “Mr Everything” for the Lions since his arrival this past fall. Epps a point guard played at Lake City HS. Epps has scored over 30 plus points several times this season. Epps keeps the ball on a string and has a great pullup-jumper. Epps played AAU with TMP 17U this past summer.
Koby Fulton – Kingstree HS (pictured on front)
Fulton has been on a terror lately. Fulton originally from New York City has been at Kingstree HS the past 2 seasons and played very limited minutes for Upward Stars Southeast 2018 this past summer. Fulton 6’3 has great length and good size to get to the rack. Fulton plays with a bit of inner city swag to him and confidence. Fulton scored 33 points vs Mullins the other night and kept the Jaguars undefeated.
Zack Foulks – AC Flora
Foulks played well at the Bojangles Bash and has continued his solid play in defeating North Augusta 63-56. Foulks dropped 23 points for the Falcons. Foulks sets the table for the Falcons and can knockdown the open look on the floor.
