Palmetto State : All-MIA Team
Prep Hoops SC sees more basketball in the Palmetto State hands than anyone else. When going to gyms and games if your on top of your game you would realize some players not playing or in action for one reason or another. Lets take a look at some players that are currently MIA (Missing in Action).
Darius Boatwright (2019) – Dillon HS (pictured on front)
Boatwright 6’7 wasn’t in attendance for the season opener vs Mullins HS the other night. Boatwright has to workout some off the court issues it sounds like. Boatwright averaged 9 ppg last season for the State Runner Up Wildcats. Boatwright prefers to play out on the perimeter and has the ability to knockdown three pointers.
Sam Tyner (2018) – Easley HS
Tyner just really fell off the planet it seemed. Prep Hoops SC last saw Tyner play in early April 2017 at the Ashton Arnold AAU Tourney with Team South Carolina. Tyner 6’8 needs to concentrate on his academics to play at the next level. Tyner doesn’t look to be playing anywhere this season. Tyner averaged 14 ppg and 10 rebounds last season for Easley HS.
Anthony Flagler (2018) – Eau Claire HS
Flagler attended Keenan HS last season and transferred over to the Shamrocks. Flagler 6’8 likes to play out on the perimeter and showed some good glimpses this summer playing some AAU ball with Team Vision. Flagler should be eligible and ready to go 2nd semester here.
Kenley Vereen (2018) – Andrews HS
Vereen 5’11 is ready to pull his out 18 month red-shirt off and start playing in January 2018. Vereen left Waccamaw HS after his sophomore season and transferred down to a school in Georgia. Vereen came back to the Palmetto State last December 2016 and enrolled at Andrews HS.
Naquan Addison (2018) – Crestwood HS
Addison recently informed Prep Hoops that he left Spring Valley HS and enrolled at Crestwood HS (Dalzell). Addison 5’11 guard played this summer with Team United South Carolina.
Robert Fuller (2020) – ?????
Fuller is no longer at Lake View HS in the Pee Dee. Prep Hoops SC saw Fuller this summer playing with a local AAU team on the Big Shots Circuit. Fuller right now is a bit of a mystery to us.
Prep Hoops really hopes all these players work out there current situations and get back on the hardwood sometime in the near future.
