The nightcap featured the host Cardinals vs Gray Collegiate. This game was filled with plenty of action, hostile fans, and dunks. Great basketball atmosphere and tune up heading into the holiday season. Gray Collegiate prevailed 87-78. Cardinal Newman led at the halftime break 43-35.

Tommy Bruner

The War Eagles coached by Dion Bethea have plenty of star power in Juwan Gary, Tommy Bruner, Khalil Robinson, Jalil Robinson, Mike Marsh and now Dallaz Corbitt added to the mix.  Gary had several dunks in transition and alley-oops to finish the night with 31 points (21 points coming in the 2nd half). Bruner and Marsh both added 17 points for the War Eagles.
