Best Unsigned Senior
SF Joshua Boulanger (Brother Rice)
Boulanger is a prospect that small colleges need to be taking a close look at. He is an athletic combo forward that has an explosive second jump around the hoop getting on the offensive glass and finishing above the rim.
Top Prospect
SF Zion Griffin (Hinsdale South)
Griffin exploded on the national scene with his play over the summer vaulting up to the #3 spot in the 2018 rankings. His combination of size, skill, and athleticism make him a big time college prospect. One of the most explosive players in the state. He is headed to Iowa State.
Most Intriguing Young Prospect
C Chris Hodges (Schaumburg)
Hodges is trending as the top post prospect early on in the 2021 class. He has great size and skill at a young age for a center. We saw flashes of his potential with the Illinois Wolves and are looking forward to getting our first look at him on the high school level.
Most to Gain at Tournament
SF Jayden Johnson (Batavia)
Johnson jumped into the top 10 overall in the 2020 class with a dominant fall at multiple camps. The skilled wing can score in a variety of ways and makes it look easy. This event will present him with a chance to continue his early season momentum and gain more steam on the recruiting trail.
Final Four Picks and Champion
It is a pretty wide open field at the Jack Tosh Tournament with no clear favorite. We are going to go with Conant led by their Mr. Basketball candidate Ryan Davis. He has posted insane numbers throughout the season, but his team hasn’t won at a consistently high rate. We think they will click at York and come away with the title behind a dominant five days from Davis.
Conant (Champion)
Hinsdale South
Brother Rice
Naperville North
