It’s the Holiday season so as you know there are plenty of good events across the state that teams will be participating in. We take a look at some of the top games/matchups that teams from the state of North Carolina will be participating in.

Fayetteville Academy vs Trinity Christian: This game is jam packed with 2019 prospects that college coaches should be watching. Fayetteville Academy features: Emmanuel Izunabor, William Oyeondi & E.J Bethea while Trinity features Greg Gantt, Talton Jones, KJ Marshall, Audiese Toney & Duke Commit Joey Baker.

Cannon School vs Oak Hill: Cannon is coming off a big time win over Greensboro Day which turned quite a few heads. This week the will be the underdog once again against a loaded Oak Hill squad at the Chick Fila Classic. Cannon will be need a huge game from Jarius Hamilton & Qon Murphy to keep this game close as Oak Hill features Keldon & Keyontae Johnson as well as David McCormick and numerous other big time players.

New Life Christian vs Cape Fear Christian:  This matchup has a chance to be interesting, Cape Fear depends mainly on seniors to carry the load while New Life depends on sophomore talent. Both teams can play up-tempo as well as in the half court and have a lot of talent on their roster.

South Granville vs Southern Lee: This matchup features two teams that have winning records and very good guard play so it should be a good one. South Granville Freshman Guard Bobby Pettiford is one to keep an eye on, he is already averaging a high amount of points and assist and plays with an IQ beyond his age.

Pender vs New Hanover: New Hanover has the deeper, stronger and more experienced squad without a doubt. However Pender features a young talented player in Freshman Khalil Marshall who can score the ball at a high level. What makes this matchup intriguing is to see how well the freshman can do against this strong New Hanover team and if his play can help Pender stay competitive.
