We are 10 games in and the season is already heating up, we take a look at the top post players from the junior class of 2019. These are individuals who are being recruited at a high level and will hold a strong impact for their teams this season. There are some names that could definitely be on this list, but came up short. Check out our Class of 2019 rankings to see the post players that didn’t make it!
Anton Watson – Gonzaga Prep, 6’7 (Gonzaga Commit)
Watson is a dominant force in the paint, being a multi sport athlete. He excels on the hoop court and football field. Watson rebounds at a high level and runs the floor very well. He’s a mobile forward that can develop a jump shot. He’s in for a big season! Watson has committed to Gonzaga University.
Jaden McDaniels – Federal Way, 6’8
McDaniels is expanding his game and is slowly evolving into a Small Forward. He isn’t the strongest post player but uses his length very well. He can rebound and push the break, creating off the dribble to easy buckets. He has a nice jump shot with range behind the arc. McDaniels has many D1 offers.
Abdul Mohamed – West Seattle, 6’7
Mohamed is a stretch forward with a solid jump shot that you have to respect. He does very well in pick and roll situations, putting himself in great positions to score. He rebounds fairly well, and uses his strength to defend opponents in the paint. Mohamed holds a lot of D1 interest.
Zane Foster – Bonney Lake, 7’0
Foster stands at 7 feet y’all, will a very slim frame. He is a high level shot blocker, with a lot of upside. He uses his length to bring in most rebounds and focuses more so on the defensive end of the floor. He continues to develop and grow as a player. Foster holds interest from some low major D1 schools.
