The season has just begun but we already have some players that put up some impressive throughout the first week, let’s take a look at some of the standout stat sheet stuffers for this week!
- Walkertown HS 2020 Guard Jalen Cone finished with 47 points in a win on Thursday night, Cone is a high flying guard that can knock down the deep ball at a high rate. One thing that sets him apart from many others is his work ethic, he puts ample time in to perfect his craft, already holds multiple offers and has interest from numerous HM programs.

Overhills HS 2019 Guard Zavian Mclean finished with 35 Points in a win off the Semi-Final of the Harnett County Shootout, Overhills would once again win the championship with Zavian possibly having the play of the tournament with a nasty poster dunk in transition.

Duke fans can go ahead and be excited, Trinity Christian 2019 Wing Joey Baker is headed to Durham and he’s bringing a lot of buckets with him. On Thursday night he went for 37 Points in a win over Wayne Christian. Baker can shoot the deep ball, is athletic and has a nice IQ for the game.

Northwood Temple 2019 Guard Josh Nickelberry put on a scoring clinic on Monday when the Eagles made the trip to Word of God, Nickelberry would finish with 30 Points on the night in a loss but the Eagles will get a chance at redemption when they have a rematch with WOG next week at home.

Lumberton HS 2020 Guard Jordan McNeill went for 32 points and 10 rebounds in a win over Southeast Raleigh HS, Jordan is a player that still under the radar for many programs but is a D1 caliber guard without a doubt.
