Top Shooters To Start The Season
Smithfield Selma Senior Guard Kavon Ward: He is an off to an impressive start this season and will get the attention of college coaches if he continues to keep up this type of play. Grace Christian Junior Nathan Yow: He has made the move over to Grace Christian from Southern Lee and it’s clear that he is comfortable and being able to do what he does best. Fayetteville Academy Junior Walter Ghaffar: He has stepped in to the fill the holes for this squad that were left by graduation and he has done a solid job at the SG spot mainly due to his shooting. Freedom Christian Junior Guard Brandon Murray: He has started the season how we thought he would, and that is knocking down a high amount of treys. He’s shooting 60% from behind 3 point land and that all began with a 15 Point (5 treys) to start the season vs Bull City Prep.
