Top Class 1 Players to Watch
Here are some of the top Class 1 players in the state for the upcoming season:
Logan Thomazin 6’2″ Walnut Grove ’18: Standout sharpshooter who led Walnut Grove to the state championship. Recently broke state record for most 3-pointers in a career. Signed with Missouri State to play baseball.
Armani Vermillion 6’0″ Advance ’18: Talented guard who averaged 20 points to lead Advance to the state championship game in 2017.
Marcus Wright 6’2″ Greenfield ’18: All-State guard who averaged 19.5 points in leading his team to a 24-5 record.
Cade Allee 6’4″ Worth County ’18: All-State forward who averaged 13.7 points and five rebounds a game for a 22-8 team.
Aaron Brandt 6’5″ Chamois ’18: All-State forward who has led Chamois to back-to-back district championships.
Trent McBride 6’6″ Eminence ’19: Versatile big who averaged 16 points and nine rebounds to lead the Redwings to the Class 1 state quarterfinals.

Ryan Hughes 5’6″ North Andrew ’18: Diminutive point guard who averaged 10 points and five assists in leading North Andrew to the Final Four.
Caleb Patterson 6’4″ North Andrew ’18: Versatile forward who averaged 12 points and seven rebounds a game for a 29-2 Final Four team.
