Signing Day Has Arrived
Today is a special day for youngsters across the country, many had already committed to the colleges that will be attending but today is the day that they can make it official with the signing of their letter of intent. Of course there will always be some players that decided to wait until the late signing period but there is a very good amount of players who are signing early. So who signed to where? We will take a moment to fill you in some of the latest signings.
- Heritage HS Forward Jayden Gardner signed with ECU, Gardner is a double/double machine and had over 20 offers.
- Cary Academy Wing Trey Murphy III signed with Rice, he is a 6’5 three point specialist with a nice amount of upside.
- Person HS Forward Dravon Mangum signed with Charlotte, he is still raw but has very nice potential and upside.
- Greenfield School Guard Coby White signed with UNC, White is ranked as the #1 player in the state and is a top 25 prospect nationally. He has all the tools to be very special and will only get better.
- Cox Mill HS Guard Rechon Black signed with UNC, he is in his first year back in the state, and he has a nice feel for the game, one of the top prospects in the state.
- Providence Day Guard Devon Dotson will sign this week with the Kansas Jayhawks, Dotson is another top player in the state and top 40 nationally and will be in the running for Mr.Basketball.
- St. David’s Wing Kris Monroe will sign with Providence this week, he was nice pickup for the Friars as he can play multiple positions.
- Hoke County Forward Silas Love will sign with UNC-Pembroke, he is a very nice pickup for the Braves as he can play above the rim and rebounds at a high rate.
