Bedford North Lawrence (9-16) – Lost 2nd Rd. Sectional
Bedford North Lawrence will be an improved team this year as they were really young last year with a good group of underclassmen. Brayton Bailey is one of the better sophomores in the southern part of the state and this year he be more of a factor and will lead Bedford North Lawrence to contend.
Floyd Central (19-5) – Lost Sectional Final
Floyd Central has been the other Southern team that is really good along with New Albany. They are going to be tough again this year and will contend for the sectional crown. Luke Gohmann, a senior will want to take down New Albany this year and he will let no one get in his way.
Jeffersonville (14-11) – Lost 1st Rd. Sectional
Jeffersonville only loses two seniors off of last year’s team and returns eleven varsity players. They will improve from last year and could shock some people in the southern part of the state. Jennings County (13-11) – Lost 1st Rd. Sectional
Jennings County is going to be a very senior laden team this year but they still won’t contend in this tough sectional. They may shock a few teams but shouldn’t have a chance at getting out of the sectional. Jennings County is still a year away or so though.
New Albany (25-4) – Lost Regional Final
New Albany is going to be really good again this year. While they may only play seven guys, their starting lineup will be solid. With one of the best players in the nation in Romeo Langford, they will look to win state again. This will be the last year that New Albany dominates its competition throughout the year.
Seymour (9-15) – Lost 2nd Rd. Sectional
