Recruiting Report: Michael Georgiton (2018)
Six-foot-3 guard Michael Georgiton of Broomfield is hearing from a pair of D3 schools in Minnesota and is looking forward to his senior season.
“I did workouts at Impact and played this summer with the Titans,” Michael told Prep Hoops. “I’m also doing a lot of one on one workouts with my trainer.”
Michael spent time with a lot of with his trainer but what did they work on?
“I’ve been focused on quickening my release and gaining consistency with my shot so I can be more aggressive and a bigger threat offensively,” Michael said.
Broomfield has the 10.3 points, 3.6 rebounds, two assists, and 1.5 steals a game back from Georgiton plus production back from others.
“We have so much length on defense that I think our team will create matchup problems for others,” Georgiton stated. “Offensively, Stevie Croell, Devin Martinez and I will be huge as we all averaged double digits in scoring last year.
“We only graduated three players so I think we’re all on the same page in terms of chemistry and understanding our role on the floor.”
How does Michael want to be better as a senior? He has his plan and if things work out the team should have a great year.
“I want to be a bigger leader and facilitator for our team this year. I think we can make a run into the playoffs and make some noise this season.”
A pair of schools from Minnesota’s top D3 league have been in contact with Michael
“I visited Carleton College and Macalester in Minnesota this spring,” Michael said.
