Recruiting Report: Kendall McMillan (2018)
Kendall McMillan, a class of 2018 guard at Mount St. Joseph, is a nice sleeper who is still unsigned. He had a strong outing for the Gaels in a recent scrimmage at DeMatha, and appears set for a solid senior campaign.
“I would describe my game as uptempo, I like pushing the ball up and being aggressive, attacking the basket is definitely my favorite thing to do,” McMillan said of his overall game. “My vision is great too, a lot of people don’t really know that.”
McMillan worked to improve several aspects of his game over the summer. The two main things he mentioned was working on his jump shot, and raising his basketball IQ. McMillan is still working to make his jump shot more consistent.
“Probably my defense and vision,” said McMillan of some underrated areas of his game. “My defense is very disruptive. I want to make people feel uncomfortable.”
McMillan says he’s doing well in school. He has a 2.77 GPA at the moment, and states his goal is to have a 3.0 by the time it’s all said and done. Seton Hill, Wheeling Jesuit, St.Thomas Aquinas College, New Haven, Catawba, and Marymount are the schools actively recruiting him. What can McMillan bring to a college program?
“I will bring toughness to a team along with scoring ability, defense, and competitiveness.”
