Recruiting Report: Josh Robinson (JUCO)
Lake Land CC sophomore point guard Josh Robinson is primed for a huge season. The former Illinois prep standout is coming off a quality freshman season where he came up big in key games. Now it is his show with a team that will go as far as he does. He is a dynamic scoring lead guard that attacks downhill and can get to the rack with straight line takes. Robinson has D1 ability.
He spoke about Lake Land’s upcoming season.
“We have a lot of new players so it feels good to be a sophomore and know everything. Now I have to get the freshman and all the new guys caught up on everything. It should be good.”
Where does he feel he has improved since last year?
“I feel like this year I have to be more of a leader and more vocal on the court on both offense and defense with all the new guys.”
Robinson broke down his game.
“I like to push the ball in transition and I feel like I see the court real well. I find everybody on the court. I play up tempo and play tough defense.”
What is going on with recruiting?
“I have interest from a couple schools. Iona and Eastern Illinois. No offers.”
