Prospect Spotlight: Mubarak Michael (2018)
Class of 2018 prolific scorer 6’2 combo guard Mubarak Michael will have his hands full of offers once its all said and done with.
The young crafty guard has had heads turning since the spring first started. His game has gone to another level in a short time. Mainly looked at as a scorer, has now elevated his game into floor general and playmaker. His size is a little deceiving because he is built up top so it makes him look a couple inches taller. Pro scouts would probably list him at 6’3 1/2 and at 175 pounds. Currently enrolled at Cleveland High School and has been a golden child for their program. Mubarak looks to even further his legacy by leading the Eagles to a district berth and deep state run.
Junior point guard Mubarak Michael is pretty underrated but is ready to get prepared for his final high school season.
Michael started point guard for the Cleveland eagles this season after transferring from Rainier Beach. He took on way more responsibilities running point guard for the eagles.
Playing along side power house wing CJ Elleby, Michael didn’t have to score as much. He mainly focused on being the floor general, making sure his teammates were in the right positions and setting them up for easier buckets. Michael still scored the ball fairly well, just lacked consistency with his jump shot at times.
This summer Michael will be playing for Washington Elite and he looks to gain more interest from colleges.
