Prospect Spotlight: Dalton Liesse (2018)
Lake Washington’s Dalton Liesse is looking to surprise some people this summer.
Liesse did not receive much playing time this season, but he took advantage of every opportunity he got. He is a sharp shooter, who can really get it going behind the arc, knocking down shots consistently.
“My strengths are my jump shot and unlimited range, along with ball handling and court vision” said Liesse.
Liesse is a smaller guard, but plays with heart. He isn’t afraid to attack the basket and attempt to battle for rebounds with bigger and stronger players. He plans on putting in a lot of work this off season, improving his weaknesses and adding more to his strengths.
“This off season I’m trying to improve on putting on more muscle and attacking the rim more.”
After gaining more experience from going at his teammates everyday at practice and studying the game, Liesse will be playing for the Washington Elite AAU program. He will have a lot of opportunities playing for them and should have a break out summer.
Liesse plans on picking up some college interest for his final summer. Check out his junior season mixtape below.
