Prep Hoops Idaho Interview: Burley’s Andrew Ferrin
With the early portion of the Prep Hoops season underway now in Idaho we continue catching up with intriguing prospects from the various classes across the state. Next up is Burley’s Andrew Ferrin, PHID recently caught up with Ferrin as his team dropped a rather close one to the defending state champion Preston Indians, but Burley contributed well with 13 points and looks to have an excellent season on the horizon.
Ferrin, a 2018 prospect, is a nice sized forward who can play at both ends. Currently ranked as our 20th player of the 2018 class and following a series of Second Team All-Conference Honors (from two different media outlets) as a junior last year, Ferrin looks to make a splash this season as a senior.

What was your basketball related highlight this summer?
My basketball highlight this summer would be when I got to play in Hawaii.
What is your favorite opposing gym to play in?
My favorite opposing gym to play in is Minico high school.
Who is the best player that you have played against?
The best player I have played against would be Brayden Parker. He is a big guy with really good post moves.
Which is your favorite social media and why?
Twitter is my favorite social media. I like twitter because there is a lot of sport information that I can keep up on.
What has your favorite part of the recruiting process been?
My favorite part of the recruiting process has been when I got that first message from a coach.
What has been your least favorite part of the recruiting process?
My least favorite part is the uncertainty.
High School or Grass Roots Circuit?
High School.
Who is your favorite NBA player currently?
My favorite player currently is Kevin Durant.
What are your personal goals for this upcoming season?
My goal is the help get my team back to the state tournament.
