Elijah McKinney (2018) Easley HS
McKinney averaged 14.0 points a game for Easley this past season. McKinney is a 6’3 guard. McKinney will look to carry the load this season for Easley with the departure of Sam Tyner.
AJ Bryant T.L. Hanna HS (Anderson) 2018
Bryant 6’4 guard. Bryant also plays football for the Yellow Jackets as a Strong Safety and Wide Receiver. Bryant averaged 11.2 ppg last season. Bryant has hauled in 35 passes for 561 yards and four touchdowns this year.
Brylan Peterson T.L. Hanna HS (Anderson) 2018
Peterson 5’11 guard plays football and baseball for the Yellow Jackets. Peterson averaged 7.5 ppg for the Yellow Jackets. Peterson and Bryant will look to help the Yellow Jackets defend their region 1-5A title.
T.L. Hanna HS is where the movie “Radio” took place.
Ty DanzyTy Danzy Westside HS (Anderson) 2019
Danzy 6’3 combo player has great length and will play aggressive inside the paint. Danzy averaged 6.0 ppg and 4.5 rebounds last season for the Rams. Danzy plays TE/OLB for the Rams football team.
Paul Johnson Westside HS (Anderson) 2019
Johnson 5’8 guard gets the ball to the basket. Johnson a running back has rushed for 712 yards and 13 touchdowns this season on the gridiron.
Cooper Fowler (2019) JL MANN HS
Fowler 6’10 left handed center has a soft touch in the paint. Fowler averaged 11.7 points and 7.4 rebounds last season. Fowler is a space eater in the paint and played AAU with Upward Stars Upstate this past summer.
Ja’Heim Handy T.L. Hanna HS (Anderson) 2019
Handy 5’11 point guard averaged 13.6 ppg last season. Handy runs the offense for the Yellow Jackets. Handy helped the Yellow Jackets win the region last year. Handy was named to the All-Region team.
Traye Carson Westside HS (Anderson) 2019
Carson 5’9 point guard has good quicks and is a great ball handler. Carson shows to have a nice mid-range game. Carson averaged 15.4 ppg, 2.3 rebounds a game and 3.6 assist a game for the Rams. Carson helped lead the Rams to second place in the region and was named to All-Region team last year. Carson a wide receiver on the football team played AAU with Team South Carolina. Carson is currently playing football for the 6-4 Rams.
