Prep Hoops SC takes a look at a Pee Dee Roundup from action the past few days.
Ryan Carfley (2018) 6’9 has signed with Coker College (SC) (NCAA D2) for next season according to Coker College Head Coach Aric Samuel. Carfley now attending Wilson HS played last season at nearby Marion HS. Carfley played this past summer on the Adidas Gauntlet Circuit with Garner Road.
Carfley played his freshman and sophomore seasons at Creek Bridge HS. Carfley is ranked #50 in the Prep Hoops 2018 Palmetto State class. Carfley is the third player in the Florence area to sign with a 4 year NCAA school for next season. Juan Perez (Francis Marion) and teammate Alex Caldwell (Southeast Missouri State)
The 8th Annual Gatorade Turkey Shootout was held these past 3 days and hosted by West Florence HS. Prep Hoops SC took in the action on Wednesday with all the games being played at West Florence HS.

The Trinity Byrnes Titans improve to 3-0 on the young season. Mack and Jones both newcomers to the program this season were named to the All-Tourney team. Mack took home the MVP honors for the 8h Annual Turkey Shootout.
Mack and Jones are fresh off a football season that ended on Saturday in the SCISA 2-A State Championship Game. The Titans lost to First Baptist 35-20.
Jalen Coit ranked #3 in the 2020 Palmetto State Class didn’t play in any of the 3 games for the Cheraw Braves in the tourney. Coit a left-handed guard led the Pee Dee in scoring last season with just over 24 ppg.
