Hoops & Dream Showcase Recap: 2018’s
Bull City Prep 2018 Guard Malique Jacobs: If you didn’t know already, Malique is a problem! He’s one of those players that truly loves to play the game and you can see it with how hard he plays and how bad he wants to win. He’s a gifted scorer and showed that by scoring from midrange, inside and knocking down the occasional deep ball. What he has added to his game as of late is the ability to facilitate as well, will have to go JC but after his JC years he is definitely a D1 caliber guard.
Bull City Prep 2019 Guard Jaisan Parker: He’s a quick guard that knows how to get to the spots that he wants to on the floor. He has a nice floater he uses to get his shot of over bigger opponents and is what we would call a ‘‘pesky’’ defender on the defensive end.
Bull City Prep 2018 SG Lloyd Pandi: Has a very nice shooting stroke, good size for a guard, moves very well without the ball and knows how to get his shot off very quickly. If he gets hot, he can fill up the stat sheet in a hurry.
Freedom Christian 2018 F/C Milos Stajcic: Milos is new to the U.S so he still learning how the American style of basketball is being played. It’s going to take some time for him to get fully comfortable but he has size and skill, which is two things that college coaches love. Against Bull City prep, he didn’t have his best showing but he showed some flashes, operating out of the pick and roll and finishing inside, D1s have already been on him.
Word of God Christian 2018 Guard Zach Newkirk: He has taken over the Point Guard for the Holy Rams and has done a very solid job so far. He controls the tempo well and does a good job of getting everybody involved, also brings a nice amount of intensity on the defensive end.
