Flight 22 Jamboree: Standout Players
Hoke County HS 2018 PG Dakari Johnson: This was our first time seeing Dakari with the Bucks and he already looks pretty comfortable. He’s mixing his scoring and facilitating up at a nice rate and is playing the defense that we have seen him play for many years. The lack of offers he has at this point is still mind blowing, will be nice pickup for a D1 that needs a guard.
Hoke County HS 2021 Guard Jaquantae Harris: If you didn’t know better you would think he’s a junior on the court, he plays the game with a maturity that many kids his age don’t have at this point. He can shot the deep ball well and finishes inside well even though he is smaller than most players on the court.
New Life Christian 2018 Wing Devantae Gathers: Gathers brings a nice amount of athletic ability and is a gifted defender, early on in the day he had some of his better showings. Juco programs should be tracking and contacting this young man as the year goes on.
South Brunswick HS 2019 Forward Jayce McKenney: One of the better athletes in the building, he still has some things to work on to round himself out as a higher level prospect but he’s clearly a college prospect at this point. He makes a very high impact with just how hard he plays and will only get better over time.
Village Christian 2019 Center FiiFi Quansah: FiiFi has taken his game to another level, he was absolutely dominant throughout the day and the hard work he has put in is beginning to show. He blocked just about every shot that was attempted in his area, rebounded at a very high rate and dunked the ball each time he was close to the basket. He is now a D1 prospect without a doubt, if he can continue to do it on a consistent basis then he could really turn into a special prospect.
