Bojangles Bash Preview
The Bojangles Bash will be back again this year at Ridgeview HS in South Carolina on December 7-9 and features some of the top teams and players from around the country. This year is no different than previous years as far as location or the amount of talent that will be in the building so who will be there? Let’s take a look at some of the teams and players that will be in attendance over that three day period.
Orangeville Prep (Canada): You probably have heard of this group before from the past years as they have featured players such as Thon Maker & Jamal Murray who would both go on to be NBA lottery picks. Since that time that have continued to have some nice talent to come through which now includes 6’8 Senior Wing Ignas Brazdeikis who can go for 30 at any moment. Their roster also features young talent and plenty of intriguing players, such as (6’8 2021 Alanas Urbonas, 7’1 2020 Anyang Madut, & 2019 6’10 Center Joe Jones) they will be matched up with: Huntington Prep, Trinity Christian and Ridgeview HS.
Grays Collegiate (South Carolina): This team is one to keep an eye on, they are off to a very good start winning their last 3 games all in blowout fashion. They feature one of the top 2019 Wing prospects in the country in Juwan Gary who is 6’6 , athletic and full of upside. The backcourt for Grays is no joke as well as they feature Guards Khalil Robinson & Tommy Brunner, both who can be a headache to try and defend.
Ridgeview HS (South Carolina): The host school is one of the few schools that are just beginning their season so of course they will still be working out some kinks in their offense and defense next weekend. However what we can definitely expect to see from this team is energy, effort and last but not least talent. One player that you may already know and will be one to keep an eye on is 6’11 2019 F/C Malcolm Wilson who also plays for Upward Stars during the summer.
