All 7th Region Team Predictions:
- David Johnson, Louisville Trinity / 6’4, G / 2019
Johnson is ranked as one of the top 2019 prospects in the entire country. He recently just de-committed from Louisville and reopened his recruitment. Louisville still remains on his short list, as well as Xavier, Cincinnati, and Kentucky. Johnson will look to help lead the Shamrocks to a state championship appearance this season.
- Jayden Scrubb, Louisville Trinity / 6’5 F / 2018
Scrubb helps provide Trinity with one of the most talented one-two punches in the state playing alongside Johnson. He holds offers from California State Long Beach and Youngstown State.
- Pierce Kiesler, St. Xavier / 6’6, F / 2018
Kiesler is a top forward in Kentucky’s 2018 class and was recently offered by Ohio Dominican and Wheeling Jesuit (D-II’s). The Tigers won 19 games last season while Kiesler averaged 16 points and 6 rebounds per game.
- Solomon Mathis, Kentucky Country Day / 6’0, G / 2018
Mathis can score it, and has shown an ability to lead his team as a combo guard as well. He has recieved interest from Kentucky Wesleyan, Army West Point, Lafayette, and others. Last season he averaged 17 points per game.
- JJ Kalakon, Waggener / 6’4, Wing / 2019

- Dorin Tisby, Louisville Ballard / 6’3, SG / 2018
With a number of seniors graduating last season, look for Tisby to average more than his 9.1 average from his junior campaign. Tisby also averaged 4 rebounds and nearly 60% from the field.
- Jordan Pulford, Atherton / 6’5 wing / 2018
Pulford will be relied on to lead Atherton this season after the graduation of Flynn Calnon, who led Atherton in scoring last season. Pulford is a 6’5 wing with small college interest from Pfeiffer University, Maryville College, Lyon College, Tuskegee University.
- Hunter McCutchen, Louisville Male / 6’0, G / 2019

- Alex Holley, Louisville Ballard / 6’6, SF / 2019
At 6’6, Holley is a college small forward prototype. Now it’s time to see him put it all together. Super talented, will look for more of a role with the graduation of Clivonte Patterson.
- Jamil Hardaway, Louisville Trinity / 6’4, F / 2019
Played up this summer with Louisville Prospects (2018) and is sure to be beneficial. Averaged just under 6 points as a sophomore on an ultra talented Trinity team.
