10 Best: Heathwood Hall vs. Bishop England
Prep Hoops finished the night in the Port City at the Riptide Classic. The last game of the night had Heathwood Hall against home town Class 3A Bishop England. The Highlanders won the game at 43-37 over the Battling Bishops.

Hall scored 13 points and would change the momentum of the game for the Highlanders. Hall made several steals and stops on his man in the late moments of the game.
Play of the Game: Late Free-throws
The Highlanders rebounding and made late free throws in the game. The free throws extend the lead in the final moments of the game. The Bishops cut the Highlanders lead to one point with 1:00 left in the game.
Best Offensive Performance: Leo Albano Bishop England
Albano scored most of his 14 points in the final quarter of the game. Albano hit several threes to keep the Bishops close in the game.
Best Defensive Performance: Aiden McCool Bishop England
McCool took several charges and grabbed several rebounds for the Battling Bishops. McCool was all over for the loose balls. McCool would cause havoc for the Highlanders offense.
Intangibles:
Heathwood Hall loves to go up and down the court on offense. Bishop England is very patience on offense that will eat the clock up.
Best Underclassmen: Isaiah Caldwell Heathwood Hall
Caldwell 6’3 point guard scored 12 points for the Highlanders. Caldwell goes to basket hard. Caldwell also is aggressive on the defensive side of the ball.
Best Project: Taijon Simmons – Bishop England
Simmons 6’4 (2021) scored six points and grabbed several rebounds for the Battling Bishops. Simmons would show that he could dominate in the blocks at times tonight. Simmons will be a nice piece for the Battling Bishops in the years to come.

Highlanders look to make a deep run in the SCISA playoffs. Bishop England look to repeat as Region 7-3A champions and make run to Columbia.
