Recruiting Report: Justin Harmon (2019)
Curie 2019 wing Justin Harmon can really shoot it! He is young for his age so he played for the All-In Athletics 15U group where he shined as a perimeter scoring threat. Look for Harmon to make an impact with his perimeter shooting next season for Curie. Smooth wing that has big time scoring potential and projects as a potential D1 prospect.
How did it go with All-In during July?
“We did pretty well. We could have won more tournaments, but as a unit we did pretty good. I think we could have done a little better in the Vegas tournament. I think it improved when my coach started to let me play my game.”
He broke down the biggest strengths in his game.
“Shooting and mostly driving. I can easily draw a foul when I drive to the basket.”
At Curie they are preparing for another big season.
“We are doing good. I am talking to coaches. We are going to be good this year and might win state. I think I am going to fit in pretty good. I am going to be right in the middle because I can shoot and drive.”
The summer boosted his confidence heading into a big year for him as a prospect.
“I think it gave me good confidence. I am starting to shoot the ball better and not as much passive. I am starting to do better than I was before.”
College coaches have been in regularly to check out Harmon and his teammates.
“It feels pretty good because they were talking to me. I nervous at first, but now I am getting used to them being there.”
What schools have been in specifically to check him out?
“Loyola and Wisconsin Green Bay.”
