Prospect Spotlight: Daniel Keizor (2019)
Daniel Keizor is a 6’3 Wing from Mannford High School. Keizor had a good year at Mannford last season.
Keizor has good range with his jump shot. He has a good ability to catch and shoot the ball efficiently. Complimenting his shot, he has a strong slash to the basket with his right hand.
Keizor has the ability to be a Wing or bang in the Post. He is also a good rebounder.
Before the upcoming season starts for the Pirates, Keizor would like to become a better ball handler. He would like to improve his court vision so that he can take care of the rock.
When people watch the NBA many people idolize the players who are flashy and fun to watch. Keizor’s favorite NBA player is Kevin Garnett. He loves Garnett because of Garnett’s passion for the game and how he plays with heart in every possession.
Last season the Pirates beat Tulsa Webster in the District Championship game. This is Keizor’s favorite moment in his basketball career.
Keizor currently has a 3.0 GPA and has not taken the ACT yet.
Keizor dreams of playing in the NBA like most kids do. While looking for a college, he would like to find a school that is hard working and that has the will to win.
“I want to major in coaching,” said Keizor. “I want to play basketball at the highest level, but I also want to go into coaching.”
While not on the court, Keizor likes to relax while hanging out with his friends. He also enjoys watching TV.
In the next season, Keizor would like to continue the success he has had with Mannford. He hopes to contribute to a run at a state title with the Pirates. He wants to help the Pirates by averaging a double-double throughout the season. He also would like to finish the season undefeated.
