Oklahoma Class 3A Favorites
The basketball season is right around the corner in Oklahoma. Prep Hoops Oklahoma continues the series of favorites in each Class with 3A. Although, it is a smaller classification Class 3A has some firepower at the top.
Favorites
Kingston
Kingston returns a great nucleus of talent led by the top player in the 2019 Oklahoma Class Jacob Germany. He had a big summer playing on the Nike Circuit with Team Griffin rising his stock tremendously. Germany already holds a BIG 12 offer from TCU with it looking like there is more to come. Kingston has a great group of shooters around him that make Kingston very tough to defend.
Star Spencer
Star Spencer is loaded with a very talented bunch heading into the season. Despite the loss of three starters and four out of their top eight players expect a big year from Star Spencer. Latarryus Smith is coming off a big summer with Team Cougars on the grassroots circuit. They have a very talented group of Guards. Christian Hoover should also help Star Spencer moving in from Del City.
Tahlequah Sequoyah
Every year Tahlequah Sequoyah seems to be a state tournament team in the mix. This season with the loss of Elan Eagle and Tyus Daughtery they will rely on young talent. Don’t be surprised to see Sequoyah in the thick of things when the state tournament rolls around.
Darkhorse
Sperry
After two disappointing years of not reaching the state tournament, Sperry seems like the perfect darkhorse pick to make a legit run at the Class 3A State Championship. Jace Pratt might be the best three-point shooter in the state. He looks to have a monster year at the Point Guard spot to lead Sperry to a deep playoff run.
