KANSAS RANKINGS: Biggest Risers (2018 Posts)
Prep Hoops Kansas takes a look at some posts who have raised their stock since last season.
Parker Braun, 6’8, PF/C, 2018, Blue Valley Northwest
Few players across the state have seen his profile rise more over the past 12 months than Braun, a 6’8 forward who has a lot of bounce in his game. Braun can dunk the ball with ease, is a terrific shot blocker and runs the floor well. He put together a strong summer with MoKan Elite and is posed for a big senior season.
Kobe Dickson, 6’9, PF/C, 2018, Holcomb
Dickson is another big riser on the Prep Hoops rankings after a big summer playing for GTH 4XIII. He is a skilled big man who can block shots, defends well in the post and has a soft touch around the bucket. Dickson recently committed to play at Cornell after drawing offers from Air Force and Washburn.
Miles Emery, 6’5, PF, 2018, Blue Valley North
Emery isn’t your typical big man at 6’5, but he is a strong, physical player who can get buckets in the post or take his man to the perimeter. Emery, who has committed to play football at Kansas, also has the ability to play above the rim and finish plays with authority.
Hunter Schneider, 6’7, PF, 2018, Shawnee Mission South
A big, skilled big man, Schneider has terrific hands, is strong with the ball and a solid, fundamental skill set in the post. He keeps the ball high and away from guards, passes well out of trouble and is all over the boards.
Rem Lemovou, 6’8, C, 2018, Wichita South
One of the state’s better shot blockers, Lemovou runs the floor like a deer, finishes plays above the rim and challenges players in the paint defensively. He has terrific size and athleticism and has a strong, physical frame.
