4:30pm SPIRE Academy (OH) vs. Fairmont (OH)
SPIRE stars include Caleb McConnell (Ohio, Toledo, Wright State offers), Jared Simmons, DeVon Baker (Wright State offer). Fairmont typically plays fundamental, albeit largely horizontal basketball. They are gracious hosts of the event, but frankly any prep school capable of recruiting regionwide should demolish them. SPIRE opens the event up just before dinner.
Spire Academy also runs out Romanian Rob Bobroczky. The 7-foot-7 young man reminds of Gheorghe Muresan. His 7-1 father Zsiga Bobroczky actually competed on the Romanian national team with Gheorghe Muresan, who is regarded as the tallest player in NBA history at 7-7, along with Manute Bol. He studies film of the top centers in the NBA and admires Yao Ming, Dirk Nowitzki and Tim Duncan.

SPIRE sent numerous players to college basketball in the last couple years. Marcus Ottey (UIC), Marco Cuze (Seattle), Jordan Blount (UIC), Stefan Duric (Buffalo), and Aidas Kavaliauskaus (Fairfield) are all 2016 SPIRE graduates who signed to D1 programs.
6:15 pm Findlay Prep (NV) vs. Huntington Prep (WV)
Findlay Prep and Huntington Prep deservedly landed in the showcase time slot. FTTH Founder and Planner Eric Hortsman knows how to attract a crowd of media and college coaches and this matching proves it once again.
Findlay Prep famous alumni include: Avery Bradley, Cory Joseph, Allonzo Trier, Tristan Thompson, Anthony Bennett, Nick Johnson, Kelly Oubre Jr., Dillon Brooks, Nigel Williams-Goss, Myck Kabongo, DeAndre Liggins. But I digress. Who is Findlay Prep bringing to the gym over MLK weekend?
