Flyin to the Hoop Monday Preview
Flyin to the Hoop in Kettering, OH returns in January with some great teams from not just Ohio, but in the entire country. In order to cover everyone, I will be splitting the preview into the 3 sessions. Today I will look at the Monday sessions.
Top Players
Dane Goodwin (Upper Arlington)- Incredibly gifted and talented scorer; can attack from the perimeter or in the paint.
Darius Quisenberry (Wayne)- Very talented, very quick guard with great court vision and high basketball IQ.
Jeremiah Francis (Pickerington Central)- Physical guard; scores the ball well or finds ways to get his teammates the ball.
Adrian Nelson (Pickerington Central)- Lengthy wing; rebounds the ball at a high level.
Max Martz (Upper Arlington)- Talented wing; can finish inside or out.
Top 3 Games
Brush vs. Hughes– Brush has a few very talented sophomores that will look to defeat one of Cincinnati’s top D2 programs.
Pickerington Central vs. McEachern– After getting a tough matchup with Trotwood, McEachern will have to turn around and face an extremely talented Pick Central team. The Tigers depth could be a game changer in this one.
Upper Arlington vs. Wayne– Every time I’ve watched Goodwin play, he takes over the game and scores at least 20 points. I don’t expect anything different in this one. The Warriors will try and counter with several high scorers of their own.
