Top 250 Expo: Session #2 Standout Forwards
Top 250 Expo – Session #2
Standout Forwards
Nick Hittle – 6’9” | Culver Academies | Class of 2020
Nick Hittle was the best big man at the expo during the second session. He uses his size well to create space inside and was impressive with his ability to consistently post above the block. Nick runs the floor well and understands how to set up for an early post entry and basket. Hittle turned over both shoulders with success and showed of his soft touch by knocking down the mid-range jumper on occasion.
Ethan Elkins – 6’5” | Evansville Memorial | Class of 2021
Ethan Elkins is a forward that can stretch the floor with the long ball and also do some damage around the rim. He moves relatively well around the floor and spent a lot of his time in the mid-range area. Ethan showed good strength in around the rim and also looks to have room to grow. He had really good spurts throughout the expo where he looked like he could be a dominant player.
William Lasater – 6’7” | West Lafayette | Class of 2020
William Lasater is a forward who tends to float away from the basket. He has the ball skills to put it on the floor and create opportunities going at the rim. He is an aggressive defender and uses his length well in the passing lanes. When William adds strength to his frame, he will have more success with his back to the basket and finishing through contact. Has the touch to knock down the mid-range jumper.
Alexander Stauffer – 6’6” | Northridge | Class of 2021
Alexander Stauffer is a strong bodied forward with mobility. He is good with his body positioning on both ends of the floor and grabs a lot of rebounds because of it. He understands how the ball is going to come off the rim and creates space with his strong frame. His activity level stood out on defense on the back line with his communication and rim protection. Alexander attacks the rim aggressively in the paint and embraces the contact.
