Standout Wings
Noah Applegate – 6’6” | Penn | Class of 2019
Noah Applegate had it all going on the offensive end on Saturday at the expo. He shot the ball at a high percentage from deep, hit the pull up jumper consistently, and finished above the rim over defenders. Applegate has quickly improved with his game away from the basket and attacking off the bounce. He rebounded the ball at an elite level and pushed it in transition for some easy buckets. Definitely a player to keep on the radar moving forward.

Cobie Barnes – 6’6” | Floyd Central | Class of 2019
Cobie Barnes showed instances of dominance this past weekend. He ran the floor well in transition and was the beneficiary of some good passing that lead to easy finishes at and above the rim. Barnes looked for his pull up jumper consistently and knocked it down time and time again. He is developing his game stretching the floor and it will help him when trying to get to the basket off the bounce. Intriguing prospect already showing mid-major ability.

Chaz Birchfield – 6’4” | Hamilton Southeastern | Class of 2018
Chaz Birchfield put on a clinic in the open floor. He continually attacked the rim with strength and finesse. Birchfield rebounds at an elite level for a wing and puts himself in great position for easy put backs on the offensive boards. He showed the ability to comfortably knock down the mid-range jumper off the catch and off the bounce. Chaz will be a big impact player for the Royals this season and looks to put together a complete senior campaign.

Eric Moenkhaus – 6’3” | Greenwood Community | Class of 2018
Eric Moenkhaus is a long wing prospect that creates opportunities for himself and his teammates by getting to the basket off the bounce. He moves constantly off the ball that helps create gaps and openings for him to get to the basket. He trusts his jumper enough to use it as a weapon when it’s open but still relies on his ability to get to the basket and finish through contact around the rim.

Zach Latham – 6’3” | New Haven | Class of 2018
Zach Latham was an under the radar prospect that put together a strong showing at the expo. He has shown development in his ball handling which allowed him to create space with the dribble to get into his jumper and creative finishes in the lane. Latham put together a clinic with his back to the basket against smaller defenders with some tough moves. Zach is also moving quicker and has started rebounding at a high level.
Amari Sherrod – 6’4” | Bowman Academy | Class of 2019
Amari Sherrod is a strong bodied wing that thrives at drawing contact early and finishing at the rim through it. Sherrod is a straight line driver and can finish with both hands around the rim under duress. He drew defenders out early with the long ball but got into the lane with regularity where he does the majority of his damage. Sherrod was also move vocal at the expo than he has been in the past which helped on the defensive end of the floor.

Logan Kruse – 6’3” | Dekalb | Class of 2018
Logan Kruse was another under the radar player from Fort Wayne at the expo. Kruse battled through some early struggles shooting the ball and found other ways to impact the game. He created opportunities for teammates off the bounce, rebounded on both backboards, and used his length to disrupt opposing guards. Kruse had a strong junior campaign at Dekalb and will be looking to do the same this upcoming year.
