Top 250 Expo: Session #1 Standout Forwards
Top 250 Expo – Session #1
Standout Forwards
Damon Craig – 6’6” | Brownsburg | Class of 2018
Damon Craig impacted the game on both ends in the lane with his length and timing. Craig turned away shots throughout the expo and grabbed rebounds at a high rate with his quick leaping ability. He is still working on his face up game away from the basket but showed some development attacking the basket in transition. As Damon adds a consistent jump shot to his game, he will be a tough matchup throughout his senior season.

Terry Hicks – 6’6” | Fishers | Class of 2019
Terry Hicks has started coming into his own as a face up forward here recently. He looked good putting the ball on the floor in the open court and getting to the basket. Hicks doubled as a playmaker in transition and had success out on the wing in the half court. His jump shot is improving but he’s still better off as a slasher. He did a little scoring with his back to the basket and cleaned up well on the backboards.

Jaylen Jennings – 6’6” | Avon | Class of 2019
Jaylen Jennings has developed his game around the basket in the recent months. He scored in the paint with both hands at an incredible rate. Jennings attacked the glass aggressively and pulled down offensive rebounds on multiple straight possessions. Jaylen scored some off the bounce and also knocked down a few jumpers. He impacted the game on the defensive end by turning away shots and creating havoc in the lane.
Ryan Segall – 6’10” | Homeschooled | Class of 2019
Ryan Segall was the best of the bunch at scoring with his back to the basket in the first session of the expo on Saturday. Ryan ran the floor well on the rim line and got a few easy buckets with early post entries and finishes. He uses his length and frame well to create space and to get his shot off against long and athletic defenders. Segall took advantage of reposting time and time again and also set solid ball screens out on the perimeter.
Jonquell Dawson – 6’8” | Homewood Flossmoor (IL) | Class of 2018
Jonquell Dawson has been quickly blossoming into an all around forward that consistently impacts the floor on both ends. Dawson has shown tremendous improvements in his ability to put the ball on the floor under pressure and makes moves to get to the basket. His finishing ability has gotten better as he has added strength to his long frame. His timing on blocking shots is getting better and he’s just starting to use his jump shot effectively in the mid-range.
