Recruiting Roundup: Commits, Visits, and More
This is always an interesting time of year, as there are a lot of things going on, but there really isn’t much organized basketball being played. While the college coaches are trying to make key decisions, players are back in their home gyms getting better. With each week this fall, we are going to take a look at the latest recruiting news from DC, Maryland, and Virginia.
IMMANUEL QUICKLEY PICKS KENTUCKY
Immanuel Quickley‘s intriguing recruitment came to an end on Friday at John Carroll, where he made his intentions known in front of family, friends, teammates, coaches, and media. The top ranked prospect in Maryland, who recently had his AAU jersey retired, has verbally committed to John Calipari and Kentucky. Miami and Kansas were the two remaining schools involved in Quickley’s recruitment, but the Wildcats were always considered the favorite to land him.
