Prep Hoops Kansas Top 250 Expo: 2020 Wings
Here is a look at the top Class of 2020 wings from last weekend’s Prep Hoops Kansas Top 250 Expo in Kansas City:
Wings
Cole Gordon, 6’3, G, 2020, Goddard
Gordon played for camp director Matt Reynolds team on Saturday throughout the day and showed good poise and leadership as well as a well-rounded skill set. His best attribute might be his ability to knock down outside shots, but he also plays the game with a high basketball IQ.
Josh Kilpatrick, 6’4, F, 2020, Grain Valley (Mo.)
Really played well, good size and a nice, all-around game. Does a terrific job of diving to the basket and finding seams in the defense. Has a lot of old-school in his game. A left hander, Kilpatrick likes to put the ball on the floor and get to the basket. Really needs to work on his outside shooting and improve his 3-point stroke to take his game to another level.
Nick Swartz, 6’7, F, 2020, Blue Valley West (Kan.)
Another player who was competing on his home court on Saturday, Swartz has good size and nice all-around skill set. Took his defender to the post a couple times. Can handle the ball a little and shows nice versatility at the offensive end of the court. Has a nice fade-away game in the post.
