Prep Hoops Kansas Top 250 Expo: 2019 Wings
Here is a look at the top Class of 2019 wings from last weekend’s Prep Hoops Kansas Top 250 Expo in Kansas City:
Wings
Jacob Coleman, 6’4, G, 2019, Basehor-Linwood (Kan.)
A skilled wing player who brings a lot of versatility to the court. Can shoot from the outside and is comfortable putting the ball on the floor and get to the basket. At the defensive end, Coleman is capable of guarding multiple positions.
Jake Pothoff, 6’5, G/F, 2019, Shawnee Mission South (Kan.)
Really like this kid’s game. He has good size and terrific skill set. Can really handle the ball, uses nice hesitation in his game to get by his defender and is a good playmaker with the ability to pass the ball. Is long and lanky with a big wing span, good size. He is kind of a kid that has flown under the radar but has a bright future.
Dale Talley III, 6’4, G/F, 2019, Shawnee Mission Northwest
Talley showed a lot of the skills that has him on our radar as one of the better players in Kansas’ 2019 class. He is a skilled wing that can handle the ball, get to the basket and shoot from the perimeter. He is a shot creator who will likely put up big scoring numbers over the final two years of his high school career.
Nolan Veenis, 6’2, G, 2018, Maize South (Kan.)
Veenis is a solid all-around guard with some size and good athleticism. He rebounds well and runs the floor well.
