Prep Hoops Kansas Top 250 Expo: 2018 Posts
Here is a look at the top Class of 2018 posts from last weekend’s Prep Hoops Kansas Top 250 Expo in Kansas City:
Post
Tyson Cathy, 6’5, F, 2018, Liberty North (Mo.)
Cathy was among the top interior players to attend the Kansas Top 250 Expo this weekend. He has good size at 6’5 and a strong frame and holds his own at the defensive end where he is a good shot blocker and rebounder. He battled some of the better post players at the event, including Kansas’ Hunter Schneider and Siler Tschirhart, among others.
Marque English, 6’6, F, 2018, Pittsburg (Kan.)
English has good length and athleticism and is coming off a terrific junior season at Pittsburg where he helped lead his team to the Class 5A state championships in Topeka. He is an active player around the basket who gets a lot of garbage buckets and does a good job of defending the paint.
Hunter Schneider, 6’7. PF, 2018, Shawnee Mission South (Kan.)
(PICTURED) There weren’t many teams on Saturday that could match-up inside with Schneider, who was easily among the days better players. He is strong, has terrific size and frame and great hands. Is a fundamentally sound big man who always keeps the ball high and away from guards looking to dig down. He has really raised his stock this offseason playing for MoKan Select.
Tyson Wilkins, 6’4, F, 2018, Osage City
Big man with good size who works hard in the post and battles defensively and on the boards. He shows the ability to shoot from behind the 3-point arc as well.
