Palmetto State 2020 – State Rankings
The new school year is here and so are the new 2020 rankings for the Palmetto State. Take a look at some of the names you will see in this edition of the new rankings right here on source for high school basketball coverage in the Palmetto State.
#1 – Myles Tate – Dorman HS (pictured on front)
Tate a fixture on the Cavaliers roster since his 8th grade season won a 5-A State Championship last season.
#2 – Dillon Jones – Keenan HS
Jones is a very versatile player who also we first saw as a 8th grader for the Raiders.
#3 – Jalen Coit – Cheraw HS
Coit a left-handed guard lit up the Pee Dee last season at 24.3 ppg for the Braves.
#4 – Jordan Burch – Hammond
Burch is a man child physically and is just as gifted on the football field.
#5 – CJ Plantin – Legacy Early College
Plantin played at nearby Pendleton HS last season.
#6- Emorie Knox – Myrtle Beach HS
Knox is a jet point guard who has contributed to the Seahawks roster since his 8th grade season.
#7 – Mezziah Oakman – Gray Collegiate
Oakman 6’9 time as come to emerge for the War Eagles.
#8 – P.J. Hall – Dorman HS
Hall had a great summer and is a extremely skilled forward.
#9 – Derrick Fields – Travelers Rest HS
Fields is a very versatile with a great nose for the ball.
#10 – Dashawn Murray – North Charleston
Murray plays at one level – HIGH MOTOR – defends the passing lanes great.
Prep Hoops expanded this class to 65 players at the current time. Prep Hoops will look to add names through out the season. The 2020 class doesn’t currently have that one name that just really sticks out quite yet. The time will come for the 2020 class in the Palmetto State. The 2020 class has good balance from top to bottom we believe.
