Top Underclassmen
OWINGS MILLS, MD — The Prep Hoops Top 250 came to Maryland for its annual showcase, and there were a several players who caught our eye. Below we highlight three underclassmen standouts.
LINCOLN BALL | WILLIAMSPORT ’20
At 6’4, Lincoln Ball initially jumped off the page because of his size. The sophomore is a sneaky good athlete, and will only improve in that area as he continues to grow into his body. Ball has a nice shooting touch, and is very adept from the catch.
MATT ROGERS | GORETTI ‘20
Matt Rogers impressed in a number of areas on Saturday, and has a bright future moving forward. The 6’6 sophomore demonstrated nice touch on his jumper, and worked hard on both ends of the floor. Rogers should continue to improve as he gets stronger and gains more high level experience.
EVERETT COOPER | MCDONOGH ‘22
Everett Cooper will be a name to remember down the road. The confident, savvy point guard held his own among much older competition, and showed craftiness around the basket. Cooper is poised to log all the minutes he can handle once he gets to the high school level.
