Ziggy Reid was quite possibly the top prospect in attendance, and he is still just scratching he surface of his potential. The versatile wing, who is a knock down three point shooter, has worked hard to shed 20 pounds in the offseason, and has become more explosive. Reid is slowly putting things together, and this time next year we could be talking about one of the best 2019 recruits in the state.
JALEN PARKER | MILFORD MILL
Jalen Parker is a long, lanky forward from Milford Mill who worked hard inside, and used his length to disrupt opponents at the rim. The junior, who made it a point to communicate on defense, is a rangy athlete who can score efficiently around the basket.
DANIEL ALLEN | MCKINLEY TECH
Daniel Allen showcased a quick first step, toughness, and impressive athleticism from the lead guard spot. He was difficult to contain off the bounce, and consistently got in the lane where he finished well in traffic. Allen, who got hot from beyond the arc, was also threat to knock down the three ball.
JORDAN GUERRERO | NEWTOWN
Jordan Guerrero stood out as a high level athlete in the drills to open the expo, and built off the momentum he started throughout the day. The long-limbed 6-foot-4 junior from Newtown, who has an explosive first step, displayed a relentless motor.
CHRIS WARNER | WAKEFIELD
Chris Warner is a player we’ve seen several times over the years, and he always has something new in his bag of tricks to show us. The 6’4 junior, who is a knock down three point shooter, is growing into his body, and is becoming a graceful athlete. Warner is becoming more versatile, and is poised to step up for his high school team this season.
