Prospect Spotlight: Cade Falor (2018)
After finishing fourth in the 2017 South Dakota state tournament, Cade Falor is hoping to be the man to take the Tri-Valley Mustangs back and win it all.
The 6’2 small forward is currently listed at number thirty-six on Prep Hoops’ rankings, and is working hard to move up and get some looks.
Over the summer, Falor was busy improving his game and making himself the best he could be. Playing with the 17u BBA Force 2 this summer, Cade was able to improve his game to be better for the upcoming season.
“I was able to play in many tournaments with tough competition. I focused more on ball handling and improving my outside game.”
Another thing that Cade learned over the summer that will help him this year, “Patience.” That patience will come in handy as the season arrives and as he rallies his team together.
Expectations are high for Tri-Valley, as they are every year, and Cade knows that. He, too, has his own personal expectations and brings in a lot of new knowledge for the upcoming season.
“I will be handling the ball more often. I will be expected to be one of the team’s top scorers each game.”
Being a senior brings upon many responsibilities, and Cade is up to the challenge.
“My goal is to make my team better by getting everyone involved in each and every game. I plan on making this year as good as our team was last year so we can make the state tournament again.”
When asked about collegiate basketball, he said, “Yes, I would love to play college basketball, but as of now, no one has contacted me.”
