Palmetto State : 2021 – 5 kids to know
Prep Hoops SC is looking to launch new rankings next week from the 2021 class. This incoming freshmen class has plenty of talent for the years to come. Here are 5 names to expect to see somewhere in the rankings next week.
Jacobi Wright – York Prep (Rock Hill)
Wright a point guard played with Team CP3 this summer on the AAU circuit. Wright can really score the ball while attacking the basket. Wright is always around the ball and never seems to take plays off while on the floor. Wright hits the mid-range jumper or uses a crisp pass to a teammate. Wright is a crafty guard who makes players around him better.
Jasean Morris – Dreher HS
Morris 6’5 is a long and lanky forward. Morris played AAU with Team United South Carolina Black 15U this past summer. Morris runs the floor and finishes around the cup. Morris will play in the Prep Hoops 250 Expo in Myrtle Beach on September 17.
RJ Felton – North Augusta HS (pictured on front)
Prep Hoops first saw Felton score 34 points in a AAU game in North Augusta, SC back in late March at the Icebreaker. Felton a confident shooter finds ways to score the ball. Felton 6’1 is a very skilled offensive player. Felton should battle for good minutes this coming season for the Yellow Jackets.
Corey Graham – Manning HS
Graham is a physically mature kid for just being a freshman in high school. Graham a power guard is extremely athletic and really can explode to the basket. Graham rebounds the ball very well for a guard.
Sheldon Bradley – CE Murray HS
Bradley ran AAU this past summer with Team Gerald on a limited basis. Bradley 6’5 will play this season for the War Eagles in Greeleyville, SC. Bradley runs the floor and tries to block every thing in site. Bradley must finish better on contact and seems to be very coachable.
