Malcolm Nicholas III talks decision to go post grad, interest and more
Malcolm Nicholas III did his part at Mater Academy and now he’s going to spend one more year at the high school level.
The 6’6″, 190-pounder has decided to do a post grad year at Believe Prep in Tennessee.
Nicholas who holds an offer from Eastern Michigan had nothing but kind words for Mater.
“My high school experience at Mater was different,” Nicholas told Prep Hoops Florida. “It made me a better student athlete off and on the court. I was challenged in the classroom and I met a lot of new people that open doors as for academics not only basketball.”
The 2018 shooting guard also has interest from USF, South Carolina, Wake Forest and Wyoming.
Nicholas is aiming to get stronger and polish his game up at Believe Prep this fall.
“I had low major offers but they weren’t the right fit for me,” he said. “This one year will help me get the exposure I need and also that extra year to improve on my weaknesses.”
Expect Nicholas to better his overall game at the post grad level. He will find a place to play in college, there’s no doubt in my mind. He’s a big point guard who is physical and gifted.
