Recruiting report: Joshua Earley (2019)
KANSAS CITY — One of the state’s top players in the 2019 Class, Bishop Miege forward Josh Earley is putting together a strong offseason competing with KC Run GMC.
Earley is a strong, powerful 6’7 forward who plays bigger than his listed height. He has a post up game and is able to score around the bucket, but can also face up and score.
He was a part of a talented Bishop Miege front line last season that helped lead the team to a state title, and with the graduation of Virginia Francesco Badocchi and others, Earley will have an even bigger role this season.
“I feel like as i player i’ve developed a better attitude while being on the court and got better as a post player,” Earley said.
This offseason, Earley has been a part of a talented KC Run GMC team that has put together a strong summer. They will wrap things up this weekend at the Jayhawk Invitational.
“ i’m hoping we can finish on a good note for the summer,” he said.
A fan of Lonzo Ball, Kevin Durant and Karl-Anthony Towns, Earley says the biggest influence on his game to date has been his dad.
“Ever since i started playing AAU basketball he’s pushed me to where I am today,” Earley said.
Earley currently holds an offer from Denver and has drawn interest from several Division I programs, including Nebraska, Bradley and Miami of Ohio among others.
