Breakdown: With many teams from outside of Indiana, it was great to see and focus on teams from around the Midwest. Size was dominant at this event with many players just dominating because of their size and skill combination. Drew Peterson was among the top performers. The 6’8 wing can out-skill anyone and really gets into positive mismatches. Same for Donita Johnson and Joseph Evans. Jalen Shaw was a guy who has really started to emerge since we saw him this past winter down at the Bank of O’Fallon Shootout. Gaining skill and confidence quickly here. Jalen Hodge, a 6’1 guard from O’Fallon (IL), was another guy from that event we got to check up on and looked really good this weekend. Two Indiana kids did standout this weekend as well in DeAndre Gholston, a Kent State commit, and Aaron Henry. Henry is just so consistent and it might finally be starting to pay off for him.
