NY2LA Summer Jam: 15U Standouts
The second live period is now over and we only have a couple more days until we are back on the road. Before that, we get underway with our reviews of the second period and those that stood out. Today, we are going to look at some of the top 2020 Performers from the NY2LA Summer Jam in Milwaukee this past week.
Elliott Sieger – 6’0 PG – 2020 – DePaul College Prep (IL) | Illinois Wolves 2019
Deontae Craig – 6’3 SF – 2020 – Culver Academies (IN) | G3 Grind 2020
Grayson Therron – 6’6 PF – 2020 – Wheaton North (IL) | H.I.T. 2020
Sam Schultz – 6’5 SF – 2020 – Oswego East (IL) | H.I.T. 2020
Jack Kahoun – 6’3 SG – 2020 – Oswego (IL) | Illinois Wolves 2020
Gabriel Madsen – 6’4 SG – 2020 – Bloomer (WI) | Wisconsin Playground Warriors 2020
Breakdown: With our focus being more on out-of-state players, we still got a chance to check in on G3 Grind 2020 and Deontae Craig continues to look more and more like a guy that could emerge early in his career. Big frame, strength, and just tougher than everyone else. We also really liked DePaul Prep (IL) guard Elliott Sieger who looks like one of the top guards in the state of Illinois. The pair of H.I.T. forwards, Sam Schultz, and Grayson Therron are both really skilled and have outstanding frames for their age. Dominant in every game we have seen this year. Gabriel Madsen is a really athletic, skilled 2G out of Wisconsin on one of the most impressive 2020 teams we have seen all year long. Madsen should be looking for those DI schools early in career.
